i have just watched big fish. i quite liked it although i didnt find it particularly memorable or moving or anything. its a really interesting concept though mixing fantastic story telling with reality. i think its a fun moive if nothing else.

i think that tim burton the director is very interesting though. his other movies include, edward sisor hands, sleepy hollow and the soon to be released charlie and the chocolate factory. incidently johnny depp is in all of them as well as another of his films, ed wood.

its exactly a week today till i go up north or so my sister informs me. incidently she has just gone to a friends house apparently to have a food fight... WHO DOES THAT dosesn't she realise that there are people starving in africa! unbelievable.

i spent all of today cleaning my room i went through all of my school books for the last like four years and sorted them. i had such a sore back by three thiry i could hardly sit up. i still havent finished but i have decided to leave the rest for tommorrow. i wouldn't like to have all my holiday fun at once!

baz lurhman is making a move about alexander the great. his world domination and his gayness... great combo there mr. luhrmann. actually that's what we always argued was wrong with troy. not enough closetted angst. some scholars (probably the not so scholarly ones) believe that the guy who gets killed while dressed as brad pitt was actually his lover, they made him his cousin in the film. boring. although i have to admitt brad pitt getting naked with another guy might not have attracted the crowds that rose byrnns did.... hollywood.... what can you do with them...

wow. baz's real name is mark anthony, he should have entered australian idol instead of becoming a movie director... oh this is interesting he's actually going to make a trilogy of historical epics... i can see a pattern comming on... i hope that they arn't boring from a film point of view. like troy, that was boring from a cinematic point of view. a bit too epic. but ill go and see them anyway. with leonardo playing alexander the great it should be interesting in nothing else. im not sure what that sentance was suppoed to mean...

anyway friends are comming over in twenty minutes so i should finish getting ready...

went to the beach today, it rained. typical.

our drama performances went better than i expected, which isn't too hard because as talia pointed out rather loudly i by no means expected the best.  i think everyone enjoyed it even if they didn't understand a word of it. nevermind. i dont think i understood much of ours we had our heads so far up our arse with melodramatic american school issues that weren't even relevant. um who kills people becuase they feel like they are an outsider and have a bad family life. we at least needed to have something about depression and stuff...

got home and slept for like two and a half hours sigh. got woken up by basil fawlty. that program maybe v. funny but it really isn't pleasant to wake up to. much too manic.

 CD's I WANT

matchbox twenty- coz i lost mine

how to dismantle an atomic bomb- top of uk, aus and irish charts

john buttler trio one with zebra

sunrise to sea or whateva it is by eskimo joe

maroon five songs for jane

cant think of anyothers at present and internet is screwy. gtg.
